EVRaid is seeking a
passionate and skilled Model-Based Development Engineer Intern to join
our Application Software Development team. The intern will contribute to
developing, testing, and integrating software features for E-Powertrain
systems, with a strong focus on Battery Management Systems (BMS), Vehicle
Control Units (VCU), Inverters, and DC-DC Converters

Responsibilities
- Support model-based development of application software for E-Powertrain systems using MATLAB/Simulink
- Design and implement new control features and logic for BMS, VCU, Inverter, and DC-DC ConverterÂ
- Conduct software integration, simulation, and validation on both virtual and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environmentsÂ
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues at both module and system levelsÂ

Work closely with
cross-functional teams in systems engineering, hardware design, and testing
Must Have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

Very strong hands-on
experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design methodologies
- Demonstrated practical experience through academic projects or internships involving similar tasks in electric vehicle systems
- Very good understanding of electric vehicle components in depth, including their functionality, control strategies, and system interactions (BMS, VCU, Inverter, DC-DC)
- Solid understanding of embedded software design for automotive applications
Nice to have
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN is a plus
