We are seeking a
Battery Pack Assembly Engineer to oversee the assembly and integration of
battery packs for electric vehicles. This role focuses on the hands-on
assembly, testing, and validation of battery systems, working closely with
engineers across different disciplines to ensure the delivery of high-quality
and reliable battery solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in
assembling battery packs and a solid understanding of battery safety protocols

Responsibilities
- Lead the assembly of electric vehicle battery packs, including cell integration, module assembly, and final pack integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineers to ensure the battery pack design meets performance, safety, and reliability requirementsÂ
- Oversee battery module and pack level testing, ensuring systems are fully functional and meet design specificationsÂ
- Perform troubleshooting and quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify and address any issuesÂ
- Ensure proper handling and safety practices are followed during the assembly of high-voltage battery systemsÂ
- Maintain documentation and records of the assembly process, including parts lists, assembly instructions, and test resultsÂ
- Support battery pack validation and certification processes according to industry standardsÂ
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure components meet quality and performance requirementsÂ

Participate in
continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly processes and reduce
production time and costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in battery pack assembly, preferably for electric vehicles or energy storage systemsÂ
- Strong hands-on experience with battery pack assembly, including cell and module assembly techniquesÂ
- Familiarity with different battery chemistries such as lithium-ion or sodium-ion, and their assembly considerationsÂ
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling high-voltage systems and experience with battery testing and validationÂ
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructionsÂ
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailÂ

Experience with tools
and equipment used in battery assembly, including welding, bolting, and bonding
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) and integration into battery packs
- Experience in battery thermal management systems and cooling technologiesÂ
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations for electric vehiclesÂ
