Job Summary
EVRaid
is seeking a Battery Management System (BMS) & Battery Module Product
Owner to lead the design, development, and production of battery modules
and BMS for low-voltage electric vehicle (EV) applications. This role
will also oversee the seamless integration of these systems into the full EV
powertrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in battery
technology, power electronics, and embedded systems, along with at least three
years of industrial experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of battery modules and BMS for low-voltage EV applications
- Define product architecture, specifications, and roadmaps for battery modules and management systems
- Drive the industrialization and manufacturing processes for battery modules and BMS
- Collaborate with powertrain, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure system integration and compatibility
- Develop and oversee BMS software and hardware to ensure optimal battery performance, safety, and longevity
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to optimize production and supply chain strategies
- Conduct system-level testing, validation, and certification to meet automotive and industrial standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (ISO 26262, IEC 62619, UN 38.3, etc.) for battery systems
- Identify and implement innovations in battery technology and energy management

mentoring to cross-functional teams
Must Have
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in battery module and BMS development in industrial or automotive applications
- Strong expertise in battery cell chemistry, thermal management, and energy storage systems
- Experience with BMS hardware, software development, and control algorithms
- Proficiency in battery modeling, simulation tools, and embedded system programming
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards, homologation, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with CAN communication protocols, SOC/SOH estimation, and power electronics
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience in low-voltage (48V and below) battery applications
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for battery modules and power electronics

validation, and failure analysis
